Robotic Nylon Assembly Cells
This cell was designed to handle various wire form components that require to be coated with Nylon. The components get placed onto a conveyor belt that is integrated into vision tracking system on the robot. Regardless of the part position placed on the conveyor, the robot calculates the trajectory of the components part and locates it in order to process it through the cell. The first part of the cell consists of an induction unit in which heats the component to the proper temperature to process it through the Nylon 11 fluidized bed. After the component is processed through the bed, it is then placed onto either a cooling belt or a cooling station in order to cure the coating.
